The SAC Isle of Lewis Chess Set. Replica chess pieces of the originals which were discovered on the Isle of Lewis off the West Coast of Scotland and which are now housed safely and securely in the British Museum of London and in Edinburgh. Many pieces were discovered and this is a good interpretation, though slightly smaller, of the complete Isle of Lewis chess set. This SAC design closely follows the original pieces. Height of King 2 1/2” (57mm). Suits chessboard with square size 1 1/2" (38mm) or 1 3/4” (44mm). |
